Biography

Brandon Ward is a proud Saxonville resident and product of the Framingham Public School system. With Friends of Saxonville, Brandon is excited to think innovatively about activating public spaces, supporting the growing artist and business communities, and organizing community events and gatherings.

During the day, he works as the Senior Program Manager for Fellowship Operations at the Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he provides leadership development training to future public servants and community leaders. Previously, Brandon worked at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy as a Faculty Assistant, at the international development nonprofit BRAC USA as the Special Assistant to the CEO, for U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman as a Scheduler & Press Liaison, and on Governor Deval Patrick’s re-election campaign.

He graduated from Trinity College in 2010 with a BA in History and a minor in African Studies and has spent time volunteering in Haiti and in western Kenya on issues related to rural health and primary education.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and generally staying active with his fiancé Lindsey and dog Madison.
